This is a DMX signal Cable for an RJ45 type DMX output to an XLR3 Female type DMX input. This cord can be used to connect our U7, Stick 2+, and Stick 3 DMX controllers to any of our DMX drives with an XLR3 DMX input. This cable can also be used to connect an RJ45 output from our PX24500, PX24600, and PX403 drivers to an XLR3 DMX input. This DMX decoder allows for 24 Channels of LED lights to be controlled via a DMX control signal. With two DC power inputs, one for channels 1-12 and the other for 13-24, this LED decoder can control 12 channels of LED lights of similar or variating voltage inputs. This decoder accepts either XLR-3 type connections or bare wire connections for the DMX signal input and output. There are a total of eight, 3 channel, common anode outputs with screw-down terminal blocks for easy connection to your LED lights. This decoder is able to accept 5-24VDC at 3A per channel (twenty four channels total) for max load of 360W/5V, 864W/12V, or 1728W/24V. You can set the starting address of the DMX decoder via DIP switches located on the back of the unit. Please note that each DMX decoder requires 24 addresses in the DMX universe being used as well as a 5-24VDC driver large enough to power the lighting load. A built in LED light test mode is available with this DMX decoder. Systems with more than two DMX decoders being used require an XLR3 DMX terminator cable on the last DMX decoder in the series.

This product is an 8 output DMX signal amplifier and splitter. When running a DMX Signal cable in lengths over 1,000ft the signal can easily be distorted causing improper communication between the DMX Controller and the subsequent DMX Driver/Decoder. By using this DMX Signal Amplifiers the DMX signal can be extended up to an additional 500ft in eight different locations. Simply use an XLR3 type female plug for the DMX Signal Input and an XLR3 type male plug for the DMX Signal Outputs and any 500mA 12-24VDC Power Supply to power the unit and you will easily be able to extend and split your DMX Signal free of any signal distortion.
