Our waterproof heat shrink butt connectors are an extremely handy product when it comes to joining two 18-22AWG wires together with a watertight seal. No need to solder wires or use bulky connectors that may eventually shake loose. These connectors are easy to use and create a permanent conductor between your two wires. No need to crimp, just use a heat gun. The dual wall polyolefin heat shrink needs a temperature of at least 176°F and has a 2:1 shrink ratio. The solder ring which provides the conductivity starts to melt at 280°F. These connectors can be used both indoors and outdoors and thanks to the red hot melt adhesive they provide a water tight seal. They are ideal for any indoor or outdoor wiring project including landscaping, cars, boats, RV's and daily home wiring. Use this 18AWG stranded wire with our strip lights, modules, wall washers, or any low voltage DC system. Wires are sold in 10ft and 50ft increments and will be shipped in one length when possible.
