Description
The HR-ALU profile from KLUS is a channel designed to be mounted directly into bathrooms, showers, hallways, walkways, gardens, and patios. The sleek design and frosted cover create a desirable lighting effect that can be added to virtually any space. Using proper waterproofing techniques this channel can achieve an IP67 rating for wet or damp environments. To seal the HR-ALU extrusion we recommend using DOW CORNING 3145 , transparent Neutral Silicone, see video link below for reference.

Jay asked: Nov 14, 2025 can this channel be installed outdoor in driveways? Can a car drive over it without breaking the channel? Also, what frosted diffuser cover should be used with this channel to make sure its waterproof and does not crack when car drives over it. Ecolocity LED Responded: Nov 18, 2025 For outdoor driveway use I would recommend using our HR-LINE channel system which is dedicated for that use.
