Combine our LED strip lights and aluminum track assortments with this infrared on / off switch to create custom and functional LED light bars. The infrared technology allows you to wave your hand 1-4" from the sensor to turn your lights on and off as well as dimming control. To function properly the IR sensor must be open and exposed with no plastic cover over top. These sensors fit best with our slimmer KL1 style extrusions but can be used with our deeper extrusions by using a small mounting block for a base. You can either purchase the on/off switch or switch plus dimming capability. This 12 volt strip light controller can control up to 3 amps of 12V Strip light or 36 watts. Create your own custom lighting fixtures with simple on off and dimming control by a wave of the hand. Our Ribbon Star Max strip light is ideal for basic indoor lighting projects such as under cabinets, over cabinets, inlayed drywall lighting, cove lighting or basically anywhere an 8mm wide strip can be mounted. Our Mean Well brand 12VDC plug-in style, 40 Watt Constant Voltage LED AC/DC Power Transformer can be used in dry locations to output up to 40 Watts or 3.34 Amps of 12VDC power for 12VDC LED lights and controllers. The AC wall input is made through a common 3 prong wall plug cord and the 12VDC output uses a 5.5mm x 2.1mm female plug (5.5mm x 2.1mm male barrel jack included).
