LED Installation at Temple School of Medicine

This eye-catching LED Installation was created by Kate Kaman & Joel Erland (artists & designers) for an installation display at the Temple School of Medicine. By using Ribbon Star RGB 180 LED Strip Light and DMX Control they created a bacterial display with each cell individually controllable. Our 12V, 72W DMX Drivers were able to give each cell an individual address, then with our U8 DMX Controller lighting scenes were programmed on the computer using those addresses. Although the project took quite a bit of time to complete, you can see the installation was a success and the DMX control really gives the piece complete control and customization. The redesigned STICK-KE2 controller returns with a new stylish look and more powerful interface. The unit faceplate is mounted to the wall and is compatible with most standard US and European electrical boxes. This controller features two separate DMX512 universes for a total of 1024 DMX channels. The versatility of this premium DMX controller allows it to either function via a USB to a computer connection or to run in stand alone mode with the use of an included mini SD card (with standard SD card adapter for computer) and 6VDC transformer. All these features combine to make the STICK the best choice for high-end commercial displays, night clubs, bars, restaurants, theaters, stadium, and state-of-the-art home lighting designers. STICK hardware faceplate, software CD-ROM, mini USB cable, mini SD card with adapter, and 6VDC power supply included. Free computer software is available for both windows and mac. A built in Ethernet card allows for IP addressing of a STICK controller and also allows for the ability to be controlled via a smart phone application through the use of a networked Wi-Fi connection. Additional features included RS232 three pin capability (RX TX and GND), four additional ports (5-8), and two wire relay.

This UL Listed Ribbon Star LED strip light in Red provides a perfect light source for many ambient and accent lighting projects. This 118" (3m) LED strip can be cut every 2 inches and has many quick connection options for easy connection and use. Comes with 3M™ mounting tape on the back, for the best long-term mounting solution. 3 SMD LEDs per 2 inches with a total of 180 LEDs that require 14.6W of 12VDC power for this 118" strip (1.46W per foot). This LED strip light has the perfect brightness for ambient lighting, back lighting, coves, under counter lights, toe kick lighting or under stairs and many more back lighting applications. Comes with two quick connectors. Requires a 12VDC Constant Voltage power source. UL Listed for Class 2 circuits, RoHS and CE approved.

A small sized DMX Driver which allows you to connect your RGB LED Lights, LED Lighting, LED Ribbon strips or RGB LED Modules to a DMX-512 Lighting controller. Then by the use of PWM and DMX, you can change the color and dimming of your RGB LED lights. For 12VDC systems only. 2A per channel with a maximum power of 72W at 12VDC. For use with 4 pin, 3 loop, common anode style RGB LED and LED Lighting. all wires are bare and need to be connected using a connector or wire nuts. NOTE: To change the DMX address of these modules you need to buy the DMX Editor Controller or have us set the address for each module you buy. Each DMX Driver uses 3 DMX addresses.
