This beautiful outdoor sculpture was created by our very talented customer and lit using our RGB 90 TPU Waterproof LED Strip Lights. The title of the piece is "Milky Way", installed in Bend, Oregon, commissioned by Art in Public Places, images courtesy of Devin Laurence Field ©2013. As you can see the color changing RGB LED Strip Lighting really adds another dimension to this sculpture at night. The TPU IP68 Waterproof and UV proof LED Strip will be sure to last for years even under the harshest elements. Custom cuts and connections were provided by Ecolocity LED for an additional charge. Our high end UL Listed Ribbon Star RGB 90 LED Ribbon has super bright 3 in 1 RGB SMD LEDs on board and can produce 16 million shades of brilliant color. Each roll of tape light is surrounded by a commercial grade silicon mold giving it an IP66 outdoor rating, making it waterproof (non-submersible), dust and UV proof. Manufactured with 3 LEDs every 4 inches this 118" (3m) roll has half the 5050 type LEDs than our RGB 180 strip, making it ideal for accent, mood, and color changing lighting in any outdoor or indoor environment. Comes with 3M™ VHB™ mounting tape on the back, for the best long-term mounting solution. 22W of constant voltage 12VDC power needed for this 118" strip (2.2W per foot). This RBG LED light ribbon can be used for indoor and outdoor applications such as landscape accent, architectural accent, entertainment lighting, bars, casino, pathway lighting, RGB backlighting and in theater sets. Our high end UL Listed silicon coated, waterproof, UV proof, and flexible Ribbon Star LED strip provides a perfect light source for many exterior / outdoor lighting projects. Each 118" (3m) roll is easy to use and comes with waterproof connectors, male on one end and a female on the other end. It also has many quick connection options for easy connection and use. Has 3M™ VHB™ mounting tape on the back, for the best long-term mounting solution. 3 SMD LEDs per 2 inches with a total of 180 LEDs, which require 14.6W of power for 118" strip (1.46W per foot). This LED ribbon tape has the perfect brightness for ambient lighting, stair and step lighting, fences, eves, gazebos, decks, backlighting, and many more outdoor lighting applications. Extras include 10 clear plastic screw down holders, 4 closed end caps, 4 end caps with holes for wiring, and a waterproof connector to bare lead wire for connection to 12V power source.
