By installing our Ultra LED Strip Lights under the stair treads of each step our customer was able to create clean, dot-free staircase lighting on their custom hardwood staircase. The strip lights require 24VDC input so a power converter is required to change the line voltage to low voltage DC. Using a dimmable power supply the dimming and on off control is controlled form a standard wall mounted switch. The 3000 kelvin color temperature of the warm white strip light gives off a subtle and inviting glow, which enhance the beautiful wood grain on the hardwood steps. While cut lines every 0.8" make it optimal for lighting designs. 1200 LEDs per Strip makes Ultra 2.0 the ideal choice for pairing with our aluminum channels to create bright, beautiful and custom, spot free, lighting fixtures for upscale residential and commercial uses. Embed into drywall, use under cabinets, light up a display, the applications are endless. Each roll of Strip Light has heavy duty 3M™ mounting tape on the back, for the best long-term mounting solution. Each foot of strip light consumes 6.1 watts of 24VDC power. An adequate 24VDC Constant Voltage power source is required. One bin keeps the 2600-3100K color temperature consistent from order to order. If you have you been looking for a way to dim your 24VDC LED Lights from a wall mounted dimmer, then this is the LED Power Supply for you. Use any compatible low voltage magnetic dimmer and dim your LED lights from 0-100%. This power supply is ETL listed, CSA listed, and encased in a NEMA 3R enclosure. Built in manual reset thermal circuit breaker allows for shutdown upon an electrical short. 120VAC input voltage only, 60Hz. Output 24VDC up to 300W. Can be dimmed with standard low voltage magnetic dimmer, see list of compatible dimmers below. Transformer is fully encapsulated for protection against the elements. No External Fusing Required. Avoid using dimmers not rated for magnetic low voltage lighting or not labeled as symmetrical forward phase as they may cause overheating of the power supply or cause damage to the load. It is also not recommended to use dimmers with neutral connections or dimmers requiring a minimum load for proper operation.
