KOZUS-50 Extra Wide Aluminum Drywall Extrusion – .63″ Deep

Description

The KOZUS-50 extra wide extrusion from KLUS is designed to mount directly into 5/8″ drywall and then puttied over to create custom flush mounted linear strip light fixtures in walls and ceilings. Using 2-3 rows of LED strip light with at least 3 LEDs per 1 inch you can create line of light fixtures with no visible hot spots (extra frosted cover only). This aluminum channel is intended to be mounted into drywall slots using gypsum adhesive (GS 20 CECOL) or mounting adhesive. Before installing the extrusion be sure to have your aluminum profile pre-drilled for wiring to your LED strip light. Wire can be drilled directly through the back of the extrusion or by creating a small hole in the plastic end cap. After adhesive is adhered to the drywall, cover aluminum wings thinly with a suitable adhesive, put the drywall mesh on, then spackle over the drywall mesh while not affecting the base edge of the profile (protective cover is highly recommended). This channel is available in 1M and 2M lengths with only the frosted LIGER-50 cover option.
