Our waterproof heat shrink butt connectors are an extremely handy product when it comes to joining two 18-22AWG wires together with a watertight seal. No need to solder wires or use bulky connectors that may eventually shake loose. These connectors are easy to use and create a permanent conductor between your two wires. No need to crimp, just use a heat gun. The dual wall polyolefin heat shrink needs a temperature of at least 176°F and has a 2:1 shrink ratio. The solder ring which provides the conductivity starts to melt at 280°F. These connectors can be used both indoors and outdoors and thanks to the red hot melt adhesive they provide a water tight seal. They are ideal for any indoor or outdoor wiring project including landscaping, cars, boats, RV's and daily home wiring. This is a 4 conductor 18AWG encased outdoor and waterproof wire, made for use with our stainless steel IP68 junction boxes or any other indoor or outdoor LED lighting project. Use this wire with our underwater and outdoor RGB LED fixtures, Strip Lights, Modules, or any other low voltage DC system. If used properly with our junction boxes this wire can be be fully submersible and dust concealed to supply an RGB Control signal to as many fixtures as your junction box will allow. This wire is also a great option for any indoor or outdoor RGB LED projects requiring a 4 conductor encased wire.
