Understanding RGBW - Color Changing + Static White
RGBW stands for Red, Green, Blue and White. This type of lighting consists of standard color changing RGB lighting with the addition of a separate static white output. The static white can range in color temperature, for example RGB+W is color changing plus a cool white 6000K, RGB+NW has a 4500K neutral white, and RGB+WW has a warm white around 3000 kelvin. There is also RGBA which is more common in stage lighting which consists of color changing plus amber.
What is RGB+W Four Color LED Lighting
The RGBW color model works the same as RGB with the addition of a fourth color white. Mixing intensities of those four colors you can create 2554 (255 x 255 x 255 x 255) color variations, over 4 billion possibilities. There are two main differences between RGB and RGBW, the first being that with the addition of a white output you can create pastel and less vibrant color outputs such as mint green or pale blue. With RGB alone your colors are always vibrant and the only option is to dim the brightness. The second difference is the ability for simply static white output, if you don't want colors you can simply use the static white output for more typical lighting applications, if you want to change to a color that option is there as well.

How to Control RGBW 4CH Lighting
Our common anode RGBW LEDs are a five wire setup consisting of one positive wire and four negative wires to each color. We stock basic RGBW controllers that allow you to control the color changing and white output seperatealy and more complicated smart controllers that allow more specicif color settings. Lastly you can use a 4 channel DMX decoder to connect and control with an addressable DMX control system.

Our 12VDC 4 Color RGBW (RGB + White) and RGBWW (RGB + Warm White) LED Strip Lights use the latest LED technology to provide 16 million shades of color hues along with single color white or warm white LED illumination through 5050 size LED chips. Our RGBW LED Strips combine color changing RGB strips with more household and task lighting friendly white and warm white SMD LEDs for both incandescent style and color changing lighting choices and color effects. Use these LED strips with any of our RGBW LED Lighting controls for one of a kind lighting effects and color hues.

Our low voltage RGBW LED light bulbs and fixtures provide interior color changing accents plus the benefit of a practical white or warm white light source. Using 255 levels of dimming control an RGBW or RGBWW lighting fixture can produce over 4 billion color combinations. Use our RGBW lights and fixtures to transform your indoor or outdoor space with the color changing ability of RGB LEDs along with a pure white or warm white output.

RGBW Neon Flex LED Lighting is the newest type of linear illumination. The milky silicon housing mimics traditional neon lighting without seeing any dots or hot spots. This non toxic, low voltage, long lasting lighting product is the obvious choice to create neon lighting effects on walls, buildings, displays, signs, or any indoor or outdoor application. Each roll of neon flex requires an RGBW color controller and 24VDC power supply to operate.

4 channel RGBW LED Controllers, Dimmers, Signal Amplifiers, and DMX Decoders are used to control 4 color RGB + White LED Strip Lights, Modules, wall washer or any 12-24VDC common anode LED light. Typically a 4 color LED consist of RGB plus 2700-6500K white, or amber but these controllers can also be used to control any four color low voltage DC LED product.
