12 Channel LED DMX RDM Decoder, 12-24VDC 4A/CH


Product Description

This DMX decoder allows for 48 Amps of LED lights to be controlled via a DMX control signal over 12 channels. Select your dimming refresh rate at 8bit (256 levels) or 16bit (65536 levels) to change the smoothness of your color fades and gradients. With two DC power inputs, one for channels 1-6 and the other for 7-12, this decoder can control 6 channels of LED lights of similar or variating voltage inputs. DMX connections are made using either XLR-3 type connections or RJ45 ethernet connections for the DMX signal input and output. There are a total of four, 3 channel, common anode outputs with screw-down terminal blocks for easy connection and control. This decoder is able to accept 12-24VDC at 4A per channel (twelve channels total) for max load of 576W/12V, or 1152W/24V. You can set the starting address of the DMX decoder via the electronic display. Please note that each DMX decoder requires 12 addresses in the DMX universe being used. A built in LED light test mode is available with this DMX decoder, CE, RoHS approved. A 12-24VDC low voltage driver is required to power this unit and must be suffice to power the load of the light output. Systems with more than two DMX decoders being used require an XLR3 or RJ45 DMX terminator on the last DMX decoder in the series.

This is a DMX signal Cable for an RJ45 type DMX output to an XLR3 Female type DMX input. This cord can be used to connect our U7, Stick 2+, and Stick 3 DMX controllers to any of our DMX drives with an XLR3 DMX input. This cable can also be used to connect an RJ45 output from our PX24500, PX24600, and PX403 drivers to an XLR3 DMX input. This is a DMX signal Cable with a XLR3 female plug on one end and XLR3 male plug on the other with 36" of lead wire in between. This cable will allow you to connect a DMX controller or device that has XLR3 output plugs to our PX24501 or 24 Channel DMX Drivers, or to daisy chain any other DMX LED Drivers with XLR3 connectors.

Wireless DMX Transmitter and Receiver

This product is a wireless DMX Transmitter and Receiver designed to send and receive a DMX control signal wirelessly up to 1,000ft (line of sight). A minimum of two units are needed to operate, one is required to send the DMX signal (transmitter) and an unlimited amount of receivers can be paired to the transmitter within the wireless range. Sixteen group options allow for 16 different DMX signals to be wirelessly transmitted in one area. The wireless 2.4Ghz RF signal uses 126 channels decreasing interference and allowing reliable communication. Each unit has a XLR 3 type male/female connectors for the DMX input and output, a DMX decoder, or DMX fixture with built in driver, is then required to set the DMX address and operate your lighting. Each unit includes a 9VDC power adapter, a minimum of 2 units is required to send and receive a DMX signal.
