Description
The LIPOD extrusion from KLUS is a larger square shaped channel designed to create custom line of light fixtures in drywall, ceilings and hanging fixtures. Using high density double wide or single wide LED strip lights and a frosted cover this fixture will illuminate in a single line of light with no visible hot spots. Use with any compatible shaped or flat cover types to create numerous fixture variations. With proper end cap and cover sealing techniques and a waterproof strip light, this fixture can achieve an IP67 outdoor rating for exterior lighting applications. jonathon arellano asked: Apr 1, 2026 can i make it a 2' sq and keep it water rated? what pieces do i need? do you make a 90 deg piece or do i have it make a miter cut at 90? Ecolocity LED Responded: Apr 1, 2026 Hi Jonathon, yes a 90 degree miter cut is required. You can then use two of the EX-KL-CON-90 to secure the connection. Once the joint is secure you then waterproof the joint using clear silicone, including where the covers meet. Shoot me an email if you have anymore questions. |
